How to view disk usage statistics with WinDirStat
Have you ever filled up the space on your hard drive? Do you get sick of seeing the Windows message telling you that you are running out of space on your c: drive? Have you ever wondered … “What is taking up so much space on my hard drive?”
WinDirStat is a disk usage statistics viewer and cleanup tool for Microsoft Windows (all current variants). WinDirStat reads the whole directory tree once and then presents it in three useful views: the directory list, which resembles the tree view of the Windows Explorer but is sorted by file/subtree size; the treemap, which shows the whole contents of the directory tree straight away; and the extension list, which serves as a legend and shows statistics about the file types.

I always get to that point of not having enough space despite the fact I am not really using the C: drive but for my system and a few other programs. I guess no matter what diagnostic tool you would use to manage your files, windows still sucks.
